Alternative Dispute Resolution
What is ADR?
- Alternative Dispute Resolution is an approach to working with and engaging families who are involved with a Children’s Aid Society/ Child Wellbeing agency.
- ADR provides an opportunity for family and significant others to have a voice in the decision-making process to ensure the safety and well-being of the children at risk or in need of protection
- The ADR program provides three types of service including Child Protection Mediation, Family Group Conferencing, and Indigenous approach
